Fun in the Sun!

With Summer just around the corner, we have been gathering activities and toys for Makayla to play in the backyard and taking trips to the park.

 

 

Cruise... Destination: Bahamas

For our 3 year anniversary, Gregory and I went on a Royal Carribean Cruise to the Bahamas. We made stops at Nassau, Coco Cay, and Key West. It was a great trip, but we were so happy to get back home to Makayla.

 



Swim time!!!

Makayla had her first swim class today at the YMCA. She did great! For being one of the youngest in the class, she sure was one of the bravest. We did things like climbing in and out of the pool, jumping off the side, and dunking water on our heads. Makayla still needs to learn that the pool water is not good to drink...

This may have taken 2 seperate Saturdays to get done, but we got some great shots of our beautiful little girl and wonderful family.

 



Easter Sunday

Easter weekend was a busy one. We started off Saturday morning with a trip to Portrait Innovations for pictures. We had a 10:00 appointment and the place was jam packed. So after 30 minutes of waiting we finally get into the first room where Makayla took some of the cutest Spring pictures with her Easter basket. Then it was time for an outfit change. This is where is all turn down hill. After getting Makayla in her other dress we had to wait for 2 other families to finish their pictures. By the time we got in there Makayla was done. So needless to say, we have another appointment coming up this Saturday. Let's hope it goes better.

On Easter Sunday we went to Greg's mom's house with the rest of the family. Makayla had so much fun finding the Easter eggs inside and outside. Normally she takes one nap, well this turned into a two nap kind of day.
